Cooperation, providing the first socialized emergency service in Quang Binh

Phong Nha Town and 3 neighboring communes have a population of about 30,000 people. Phong Nha-Ke Bang tourist center welcomes about 1 million tourists each year. In addition, this is also the world's largest cave exploration tourist center, with a scale of about 50,000 visitors.

However, emergency services in this area are still very limited, including no ambulance on-site. When needed, it must be called from Dong Hoi city, so it takes a lot of time to wait and transport patients to hospitals in Dong Hoi when an incident occurs.

Faced with these difficulties, the Chua Me Dat Community Support Fund (Oxalis Foundation) decided to sign a cooperation agreement, sponsoring 180 million VND to Company 115 Quang Binh to provide medical services in Phong Nha town for 1 year.

Quang Binh 115 Service Unit will maintain a permanent emergency team in Phong Nha town with sufficient human resources, equipment, and medical supplies for emergency medical work according to regulations of the Ministry of Health to provide emergency medical support to tourists and people in the area.

Representatives of local authorities and Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park highly appreciated the companionship and active support of Chua Me Dat Company to overcome difficulties in first aid activities for tourists visiting and exploring Phong Nha-Ke Bang area and local people.

Thereby, creating peace of mind for tourists and residents when an incident occurs. On the other hand, ambulance services will also be carried out very promptly to minimize risks for patients.
