Combining international vision and domestic potential

CWT International Limited, established in 1970, is known as one of the leading providers of integrated logistics and global supply chain services. With the vision of "Connecting Global Trade", CWT has always focused on developing integrated logistics services, commodity marketing, financial services and modern technology, to optimize the global supply chain and promote international trade.

Currently, CWT operates an extensive logistics network with warehouses and logistics distribution centers spanning 200 seaports and 1,600 inland destinations worldwide. CWT provides comprehensive supply chain services from physical freight forwarding, supply chain management to strategic logistics consulting, focusing on strategic industries such as base metals and energy. All activities are carried out systematically and professionally thanks to modern technology and advanced transportation networks, along with decades of experience in operating logistics supply chains. In particular, its commitment to sustainable logistics development has helped CWT maintain its position as a trusted partner of large international enterprises.

Vietnam, with its strategic geographical position, rapidly growing economy and deep integration into the global economy, is becoming an attractive destination for international logistics companies and corporations. These favorable factors and large development potential in this field not only open up cooperation opportunities but also promote investment from foreign enterprises. Currently, CWT has also built and developed a modern warehouse system in Vietnam.

Mr. Raymond Sha, Executive Vice President of CWT, said: “Logistics and freight forwarding activities in Vietnam still have a lot of potential and room for development. Vietnam has all the elements to become a regional logistics hub. We are proud to cooperate with MXV, an organization that is constantly innovating and has a strategic vision for the Vietnamese market. The combination of CWT's global network and MXV's understanding of the domestic market will be a big step forward in creating more comprehensive logistics solutions for the Vietnamese market in particular and the Southeast Asian region in general.”

Promoting international supply chain development

A key highlight of the partnership agreement between MXV and CWT is the strong commitment to developing sustainable logistics solutions, including transport optimization, environmental impact reduction and advanced technology application. This is not only a commitment to operational efficiency but also has strategic significance in building a comprehensive supply chain that meets the strict requirements of the global market.

The memorandum of understanding specifies that the two parties will become international strategic partners in the field of logistics and freight forwarding. Accordingly, CWT will take on an important role in providing logistics and warehousing services, supporting the import and export of goods into and out of Vietnam for businesses wishing to participate in freight forwarding through MXV. This cooperation not only helps domestic businesses take advantage of CWT's modern warehouse system in Vietnam and internationally, but also optimizes the stages of transportation, storage of goods, operating costs and actual delivery.

With many years of experience and a strong logistics network, CWT ensures accuracy and efficiency in all goods trading activities, and supports MXV in providing effective logistics solutions, building comprehensive and sustainable supply chain strategies, on a global scale. This is especially important when Vietnamese enterprises are increasingly participating in the global supply chain, where speed, accuracy and information traceability are highly required.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Duc Dung, Deputy General Director of MXV emphasized: “This is a strategic step for MXV to access the most modern logistics solutions in the world. We believe that cooperating with a reputable global partner like CWT will bring outstanding values to businesses in Vietnam, while actively contributing to the development of our country's supply chain, as well as promoting international trade”.

The signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between MXV and CWT is a clear demonstration of the inevitable trend of trade integration and globalization. In the context of Vietnam gradually asserting its position on the world economic map, the cooperation between the two organizations is expected to contribute to promoting the sustainable development of the national supply chain and logistics. This is an opportunity for Vietnam to affirm its important role in the global trade flow, while attracting investment capital from international corporations into the fields of logistics, production and trade in Vietnam.
