(CLO) On November 29, in Hanoi, 3 press agencies including VietNamNet Newspaper, Tuoi Tre Thu Do and Nguoi Lao Dong held a conference to evaluate the results of implementing the cooperation agreement between the 3 agencies.
At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Ba, Editor-in-Chief of VietNamNet newspaper shared that VietNamNet newspaper is one of the few press agencies that has built its own software. Specifically, the VMS technology software that the agency is currently using brings many conveniences and benefits to users and readers.
Mr. Ba added that currently, VietNamNet's team of 50 technical staff, including 30 high-quality engineers, continues to develop and optimize VMS software. The highest priority is to enhance security and integrate AI technology into the software built and developed by VietNamNet itself.

Mr. Ba emphasized that VietNamNet's VMS software technology was previously a secret, but now it can be completely shared, made public, and supported by press agencies nationwide if there is a need for cooperation.
Sharing at the conference, Mr. To Dinh Tuan, Editor-in-Chief of Nguoi Lao Dong newspaper affirmed that if you want to go fast, go alone, if you want to go far, go together and this is an opportunity to look back on the journey of the three units supporting and cooperating with each other.
Mr. Tuan said that currently, Nguoi Lao Dong newspaper is operating according to a converged newsroom model with 3 outputs: electronic newspaper, printed newspaper and social network. In particular, the newspaper's information channels on social network environment are developing strongly and bringing high efficiency. In the coming time, the newsroom is aiming for a digital newsroom model, a multi-task newsroom. In which, journalism economics and digital transformation are two major issues that Nguoi Lao Dong newspaper really needs to learn from previous agencies such as Tuoi Tre Thu Do newspaper and VietNamNet.
Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre Thu Do newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, said that Tuoi Tre Thu Do is the unit with the least number of staff and reporters among the three agencies with nearly 100 employees. Self-study and experience accumulation applied to the activities of the editorial office has been a consistent activity applied at the agency for many years.
Mr. Hung shared that Tuoi Tre Thu Do is a 100% autonomous press unit since 2018. After 6 years, Tuoi Tre Thu Do's current revenue is about 60 billion VND, 10 times higher than in 2018.
According to Mr. Hung, the editorial office has a consistent operating motto and the key to increasing the economic revenue of the press is to accompany the units and go far together...
After 8 months of cooperation according to the signed minutes, the newspapers VietNamNet, Nguoi Lao Dong and Tuoi Tre Thu Do have coordinated to implement joint activities in the fields of journalism, communications and community activities, in the spirit of cooperation, meeting the development goals and requirements of the parties, in accordance with legal regulations.
The memorandum of cooperation between the three newspapers was signed with the aim of enhancing coordination in reporting, sharing resources and experiences, as well as improving the quality of press content.
The newspapers have been, are and will continue to share articles, images and videos together to optimize resources and ensure information is updated quickly and accurately. In the coming time, the three newspapers will continue to promote cooperation, focusing on areas such as: Application of new technology, artificial intelligence in content production, information management; development of journalism economy; social security work, behind-the-scenes programs, etc.
