In the first quarter of 2024, the economic growth rate reached the highest level compared to the last 2 years, the total GRDP was 4.83%; the industrial production index increased by 4.33%. The total state budget revenue by the end of March reached 40% of the central budget estimate; the disbursement rate was over 19%, reaching the set target. Total retail sales and service revenue increased by more than 12%, exports increased by 18.5% and imports increased by 14.5%;... Also in the first 3 months of the year, Long An tourism welcomed about 523,000 visitors, an increase of 2.5 times over the same period; agricultural production alone had many positive changes in key crops;...
The Provincial People's Committee directed departments and branches in the whole province to focus on implementing key tasks in the second quarter of 2024, such as: Disbursing public investment capital to reach at least 50%; continuing to carry out site clearance for provincial roads 822D - 823D, Ring Road 3... speeding up the progress of 3 breakthrough programs, 3 key projects; Urgently reviewing and developing a detailed plan to implement the Social Housing Project in 2024;...
At the press conference, reporters and journalists raised a number of issues related to: Traffic, environmental waste treatment, labor - employment - social housing, development projects, thermal power plant and solar power projects in Long An province...
