At the meeting, the leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism reported on the progress of the fair preparation. Specifically, the unit has consulted on the completion of 2/15 tasks and completed the draft documents to implement 6/15 tasks (after consulting the Fair Organizing Committee, it will be implemented immediately), including: Consulting the Provincial People's Committee to issue a Decision to establish the Fair Organizing Committee; inviting partners to participate in the fair; coordinating with the Department of Finance to appraise the estimated operating costs of the fair. The industry has also completed the layouts and identification of the fair; completed the draft regulations for participating in the fair for organizations, businesses, units and individuals; completed the design of the space for arranging booths; drafted the communication plan, the plan to organize the opening and closing ceremonies of the fair and the plan to organize activities of the units participating in the fair.

At the meeting, the Fair Organizing Committee informed the contents to seek opinions from members and the conclusion of the Head of the Fair Organizing Committee on the overall design of the event space (space for booths, stages, miniatures for visitors to experience, take pictures...); design of the fair brand identity document set; regulations for participating in the fair; comments on 7 draft detailed plans for organizing fair activities...

At the meeting, members of the Fair Organizing Committee discussed and pointed out difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process; proposed plans to effectively implement tasks according to the plan to successfully organize the Lao Cai International Tourism Fair in 2025.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Hoang Quoc Khanh, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: To successfully organize the Lao Cai International Tourism Fair 2025, members of the Fair Organizing Committee need to focus on implementing the assigned contents, ensuring progress and efficiency. Based on the opinions at the conference, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will absorb and adjust the organization plan accordingly; review to build a detailed list of delegates; and agree on plans to participate in the activities.

Members of the Fair Organizing Committee need to coordinate closely and responsibly in preparation work; the sectors: customs, police, foreign affairs, industry and trade, market management coordinate to create favorable conditions, in accordance with regulations to ensure entry and exit activities, booths of other countries participating in the fair; do a good job of managing goods and people in accordance with regulations, contributing to organizing a scientific, practical, effective, safe and economical fair.

Lao Cai International Tourism Fair 2025 is expected to take place for 4 days, from June 5, 2025 to June 8, 2025 at Dinh Le Square (Coc Leu Ward, Lao Cai City) with a scale of 130 standard booths and surrounding areas in an area of ​​5,000 ^m2 .
