Honor X8a on sale starting at 4.7 million VND

On July 7, FPT Shop system exclusively opened for sale the Honor X8a model, marking the return to the Vietnamese market of the Chinese phone company. The model belongs to the mid-range segment, has a modern design and many useful features, participating in the smartphone category under 5 million VND. Currently, X8a has 2 color versions: Cyan Blue and Titan Silver.

The device has a square appearance on the edges, a large 6.7-inch screen to help expand the experience space, useful for customers who are accessing smartphones for the first time, the elderly or those who need a secondary phone to serve entertainment needs. The device comes pre-installed with Android 12 operating system, uses MediaTek Helio G88 processor and Mali-G52 MC2 GPU, equipped with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal memory.

The back is a cluster of 3 cameras with resolutions of 100 MP, 5 MP, 2 MP respectively, enough to meet the needs of taking photos and recording videos. The 4,500 mAh battery supports fast charging up to 22.5W to ensure the device maintains energy for all day operation or provides enough power for use in a very short charging time, according to the manufacturer.

At the product launch, Mr. Pham Quoc Bao Duy, Director of Mobile Phones - FPT Shop system shared: " Honor is a prominent brand in the international market and has many products sold in Vietnam. Besides the good price, Honor X8a also impresses users with its elegant design and good configuration. With this comeback, we expect X8a to become the priority choice of customers when they need to own a cheap smartphone ."

Buyers of Honor X8a between July 7 and July 16, 2023 will receive an additional discount of VND 300,000, the price of the device is only VND 4.69 million with a VND 200,000 voucher, applicable to purchases of household products, accessories and services from VND 500,000.

Honor used to be a subsidiary brand, manufacturing smartphones, mobile devices running the Android operating system owned by Huawei Technologies (China). In November 2020, Huawei sold the low-cost Honor brand to a group of investors, including the Shenzhen city government. Huawei did this to ensure the survival of Honor, because US sanctions had cut off the supply of important components and crippled the company's smartphone business, including Honor at that time.
