After more than 4 months of launching, the program " Beautiful Sisters Riding the Wind and Breaking the Waves" 2023 has aired its first episode. The first episode of the program surprised the audience with the reunion of 30 "beautiful sisters" and explosive performances.
Reuniting with Le Quyen and Hong Nhung, My Linh had an interesting interaction. She was surprised when her senior flew from France to Vietnam to participate in this program and asked: "Bong left her husband and children to come to Vietnam to participate in the program?".
In response to My Linh's question, Hong Nhung immediately asked her junior to change the word husband to boyfriend. Phuong Vy said she has been in the profession for 15 years but has no friends in the profession and came to the program with the hope of having a close sister.

After the reunion, the 30 "beautiful sisters" entered the individual performance round. Accordingly, the 5 people with the highest scores will become the 3 group leaders of the first performance.
In this episode, the first 5 artists to perform are Ninh Duong Lan Ngoc, H'Hen Nie, Thu Phuong, Diep Lam Anh and Le Quyen.
Entering the solo round, Ninh Duong Lan Ngoc performed the vibrant song "Tuoi Xi Teen" , receiving 80 points from the panel of advisors. Miss H'Hen Nie performed an Ede folk song called "Buon Dur Kmăn" . This is a cheerful song with a catchy melody and impressive dance. The panel of advisors gave H'Hen Nie 86 points for this performance.
Ninh Duong Lan Ngoc surprised everyone by singing and dancing at the same time.
Diep Lam Anh showed off her hip-hop dancing skills in her solo performance on the first stage. Explaining why she only danced on stage, she said: "I wanted to bring a performance with a strong personal color, expressing the name Diep Lam Anh" . Diep Lam Anh's dance received a total score of 84.
Thu Phuong performed the mashup of Xin loi and Lan cuoi with an emotional voice. With a score of 86 from the advisory board, Thu Phuong said she had thought about giving up before due to health and costume reasons: "I was going to say I couldn't sing because the costume made me very tired. I couldn't breathe backstage." The female singer further revealed that she spent 3 months trying to figure out how to sing this song.

The fifth beauty performing on the first stage of the program is Le Quyen. The "Queen of the tea room" showed off her sweet and deep voice when choosing to perform If I had a choice. Coming to the program, Le Quyen wanted to experience and did not care about the result, winning or losing. The score given to Le Quyen by the 3 advisors was 88 points.
Watching her senior's performance, MLee said Le Quyen's breathing was beautiful, diva Hong Nhung commented that singing must be different when in love.
After the first episode, Thu Phuong and Le Quyen temporarily took the lead with the same score of 88 according to the advisory board's scoreboard. Episode 2 of the show will air on November 4, 2023 at 9:15 p.m. on VTV3.
