Hong Phuong appeared at the media meeting with two friends and a lawyer. The singer confided that the recent scandals have greatly affected her life and career.
Recently, Hong Phuong has been stressed because many shows have been canceled. She also did not dare to accept performance invitations because she was afraid of being attacked by extremists. The female singer said that the reason she wanted to organize this meeting was not to clarify but just to express her feelings so as not to be wrongly accused when her uncle had just passed away not long ago.
Hong Phuong appeared at the media meeting.
"My family has been under too much pressure from public opinion and many baseless slanderous rumors. All of this not only affects my life and work, but also makes me mentally stressed every day," she said.
"Hong Loan knows all the expenses from the funeral"
Hong Phuong confided that she felt heartbroken when she had to sit here and clarify each amount of money donated and spent at the funeral of Meritorious Artist Vu Linh. According to Hong Phuong, the total amount of money collected was more than 1 billion VND. Of which, the money donated was more than 576 million VND, the money received after the funeral (before 49 days) was 149 million 740 thousand VND and the money received for building the tomb was 277 million 400 thousand VND.
Of which, the amount spent on the funeral was 610 million 950 thousand VND. The amount spent after the funeral (49 days before) was 81 million 950 thousand VND and the cost of building the tomb was 325 million VND. Vu Linh's niece confirmed that all expenses during the funeral were informed to the whole family and Hong Loan beforehand.
"I affirm that everyone knows how much money was spent. On the third day of his death, everyone in the family decided to go into his room to open his cabinet to check. We found a box with $4,100 in it. Everyone saw this money. Then an artist sent another $100, so it added up to $4,200. This money was put into the funeral fund to take care of him later," she said.

Hong Phuong said she did not give Hong Loan this money because at that time she was still living at her husband's house. Hong Loan herself also agreed to let Hong Phuong's mother keep this money because she still had to spend a lot of money. Hong Phuong said that before, all the housework was decided by Meritorious Artist Vu Linh because he was the oldest person in the family. Therefore, when he passed away, it was reasonable for her mother to take care of everything. Before that, at the funeral, the whole family also agreed to let her mother decide everything.
"Loan said there was 13,000 USD in the cupboard, I had no idea about that. I also did not know that Loan took the money to fix the car and pay for expenses. If Loan had not said anything, my family and I would not have known there was 13,000 USD. I still remember one time my mother showed Hong Loan the income and expenditure book. However, at that time, Loan was the one who looked at it and said 'I don't understand anything'. I think it was because she didn't understand that Loan said she didn't know," she affirmed.
In addition, Hong Phuong also denied the rumor that she recently bought a luxury car worth 800 million VND as many sources of information are spreading.

"Vu Luan once thanked me because his Youtube channel grew so much after the funeral"
Regarding the contract with BH Media to do the media for the funeral, Hong Phuong was heartbroken by the information that she signed the contract to "eat off her uncle's body". She said she refused twice because she wanted to keep his privacy. However, when she was convinced that many audiences, even abroad, wanted to see the final images of his life in a proper way, she agreed.
Hong Phuong said she discussed this with Binh Tinh and Ms. Nga (who has been taking care of Meritorious Artist Vu Linh for the past 10 years) before signing the contract. The female singer said she did not discuss it with Hong Loan because she simply thought that she did not work in the arts and did not have much experience.
The singer revealed that when she signed the contract, she had no idea that those videos would also be broadcast on Meritorious Artist Vu Luan's Youtube channel. At that time, Meritorious Artist Vu Luan even said "thank you for your protection" because he received a lot of interaction on the channel.
Hong Phuong publicly posted messages with Meritorious Artist Vu Luan on April 4.
Hong Phuong said: "On March 24, Mr. Vu Luan asked my family to go out to eat. He said the reason was because he couldn't talk much during the funeral. However, when we met, he happily told me that his Youtube channel had increased its interaction a lot. I asked if he made a lot of money and he replied 'yes'. At that time, I said consider it as you blessing him, that's great.
After that, everything went on as usual. On April 4, Mr. Luan texted me quite harshly and wanted me to speak up and correct it. At that time, he was posted by the writer Van Tien and some people talking about the business at his uncle's funeral. However, I said that it was his and BH Media's business, I had absolutely nothing to do with it. When I signed the contract with BH Media, I had no idea that it would be broadcast on Mr. Luan's Youtube channel."
Hong Phuong also said that Meritorious Artist Vu Luan's Youtube channel was created for 3 years but only had more than 40 thousand followers. However, after Meritorious Artist Vu Linh's funeral, he received the silver button because the number of followers was more than 114 thousand.
"This did not cause any damage to Mr. Luan. However, now he says it was because of me. If I had not signed, would he have been able to do this?", Hong Phuong added.
"Hong Loan asked my mother and I to leave the house within 3 days"
Regarding the noisy dispute over property, Hong Phuong affirmed that she did not file a lawsuit but was only involved. She said that this case will be handled by the law.
Hong Phuong said she once told her mother - artist Hong Nhung - that the two of them had no point in winning the lawsuit. Hong Phuong also advised her mother to withdraw the lawsuit but she did not agree. She said her mother was still determined to continue with the lawsuit because "the last straw broke the camel's back" after many previous frustrations and conflicts that were difficult to resolve.
Hong Phuong once advised her mother to withdraw the lawsuit but was not accepted.
The niece of Meritorious Artist Vu Linh said: "Recently, Hong Loan transferred all the assets to her name. After 49 days of her uncle's absence, Hong Loan asked my mother and I to leave the house, which created the first conflict. Therefore, my mother and I did not agree. When he was alive, he was the one who brought my mother and me back. But a few months after he passed away, we were kicked out of the house without reason.
Before that, Ms. Nga was also asked by Hong Loan to leave the house even though they had previously agreed to let her stay here to take care of his altar. After that, the incident became a big deal online, Loan once again called the police station to say that my family was disturbing the peace. At that time, Hong Loan asked my mother and I to leave the house within 3 days. 3 days later, Hong Loan changed the outside lock so my mother and I could not enter the house.
On May 29, Hong Loan locked the door from the inside. When I watched the camera, I saw Hong Loan enter my room and collect my belongings and throw them away. All the conflicts became tense again. Currently, my mother and I are like homeless people without any belongings or a house to live in. I have an old mother and young children so I don't have enough conditions to go out. In the near future, I will file a petition for help."
Hong Phuong said that after being kicked out of her home, she and her children now have to stay at friends' houses, and sometimes have to rent a hotel to get through the day.

She confided: "As Hong Loan said, if we don't have a common voice, it's difficult to live together. However, Hong Loan can ask my mother and I to leave the house properly. Finding a house in 2-3 days is impossible. As a family, even if conflicts arise, we should think back to how we used to be together.
Has Hong Loan ever felt sad when my daughter and mother are old and have to live outside. Why do they act so 'ruthlessly'?
"Right now, I myself don't know where things will go. It all depends on people's hearts. If you want, create an opportunity to sit down together. However, I think it's very difficult to go back to the way things were before. If I had one wish, I would just want to go back to when you were still alive," she added.
