According to dealer sources, the 2025 Honda HR-V in Vietnam will still have 3 versions, including the e:HEV RS version using a hybrid engine and 2 GL versions using traditional gasoline engines.

Referring to the Thai market, the highest-end Honda HR-V e:HEV RS is equipped with a hybrid powertrain for the first time, combining a 1.5L gasoline engine (106 horsepower, 127 Nm) with an electric motor (131 horsepower, 253 Nm) and an e-CVT gearbox. This version has a fuel consumption of only about 4.5L/100 km.

Meanwhile, the G and L versions still use a 1.5L naturally aspirated gasoline engine with a capacity of 119 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque. However, the HR-V L version will no longer have the 1.5L turbocharged engine as before, causing fuel consumption to increase to about 6.7L/100km.

In terms of appearance, the 2025 Honda HR-V e:HEV RS will have some significant tweaks, such as a more angular 3D grille and Porsche-inspired LED taillights. The G and L versions are expected to retain the current design, with the main difference being the wheel set.

The 2025 Honda HR-V also has a Khaki Sand Pearl color option, similar to the Thai version. Not only has the powertrain and design changed, the interior and safety equipment of the 2025 HR-V have also been significantly improved.

The HR-V G version will have additional leather seats, reverse sensors and auto-dimming mirrors. Meanwhile, the HR-V L version will be upgraded with an electric driver's seat, an 8-speaker sound system (2 more speakers), 6 airbags (2 more airbags), a side-view camera and an electric tailgate.

All three versions are expected to continue to be equipped with the Honda Sensing safety package, which enhances safety and driver assistance.

It is expected that the price of the Honda HR-V 2025 in Vietnam will not fluctuate much. The HR-V G version is expected to remain at the current level of 700 million VND.

The HR-V L version (no longer equipped with a turbocharged engine) could drop to around VND750 million. The HR-V e:HEV RS version with hybrid technology is expected to remain at VND870 million.
