Accordingly, from 7:00 a.m. on April 19, the voter consultation team in each village and neighborhood was divided into many groups to conduct the survey directly at households to ensure the requirements on implementation progress, democracy, objectivity, and compliance with regulations.

The subjects of the consultation are voters representing households (aged 18 and over as of the date of distribution of the consultation form) in commune-level administrative units directly affected by the projects. The content of the consultation includes two options: "agree" or "disagree" with the project on the arrangement of administrative units at all levels.

As of 5:00 p.m. on April 19, according to a quick summary of 10/11 districts, towns and cities, 64.49% of voters in the province have given their opinions on the Project to reorganize Gia Lai province with Binh Dinh province and the Project to reorganize commune-level administrative units. This work will continue to be carried out in a spirit of urgency and seriousness, ensuring the goal of the People's Committee at the commune level synthesizing and reporting the results of collecting voters' opinions to the People's Council at the commune level and the People's Committee at the district level before April 21, 2025.

Previously, the Project to reorganize Gia Lai province with Binh Dinh province and the Project to reorganize commune-level administrative units in the province were widely reported in newspapers, radio stations, electronic information sites, grassroots radio stations, etc.

According to the project to reorganize Gia Lai province with Binh Dinh province, it is expected to establish Gia Lai province on the basis of merging Gia Lai and Binh Dinh provinces. Through the merger of the entire administrative boundaries of Gia Lai and Binh Dinh provinces, Gia Lai province after the reorganization has a natural area of ​​21,576.5 ^km2 , a population of more than 3.5 million people. The political and administrative center is located in Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province today.

Regarding the Project on rearranging commune-level administrative units in Binh Dinh province, it is expected that the whole province will have 58 commune-level administrative units, a reduction of 62.58% compared to the present.
