More than 5.5 million tourists visit Phu Tho on Hung King's death anniversary

In particular, on the two peak days of Saturday (April 5) and Sunday (April 6), the Hung Temple Historical Site recorded a sudden increase in the number of visitors.

Mr. Nguyen Dac Thuy, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho province, said that the number of visitors to Hung Temple this year is nearly double that of 2024 (nearly 3 million).

On the main festival days, despite unfavorable weather, with heavy rains on many days, the number of people flocking to Hung Temple still increased.

Besides, although some festival activities this year had to be temporarily suspended or postponed during the 2 days of National Mourning, it did not reduce the appeal of unique cultural, sports and tourism activities.

The activities attract a large number of people and tourists from all over the country. Hotel rooms in the center of Viet Tri city and near Hung Temple area are almost fully booked during the holidays. Many tourists have to choose to stay in far away places.

The work of ensuring security and order, traffic safety, environmental sanitation, fire prevention and fighting, and medical work is deployed synchronously by functional forces, contributing to maintaining order and ensuring absolute safety for people and tourists.
