More than 5,000 soldiers from three regions practice together in a parade marking the 50th anniversary of national reunification.

More than 5,400 soldiers trained with two main contents: performance by the Army Ceremonial Corps before the anniversary ceremony; parade, celebration parade. This training took place in person and online with military zones.

In the parade and marching practice, there were forces of the Ministry of National Defense in 4 clusters. Of which, cluster 1 (National Military Training Center 4) included Military Regions 1, 2, 3, 4, the Navy, the Air Defense - Air Force, the 12th Corps; the Armored Corps, Special Forces, Communications and the Military Ceremonial Corps.

16 blocks participated in the parade at the training site of cluster 1.

At cluster 2 (Military Region 5) includes: Cyberspace Operations Force; Special Forces Airborne unit; Male Marine Militia unit.

At cluster 3 (Military Region 9 and Corps 34) include: Army officers; Border Guard officers; officers representing five military wings; Logistics and engineering officers; and electronic warfare soldiers.

At cluster 4 (Military Region 7) includes: honor guard; military band; coast guard officer; male militia; female militia; liberation army soldier; female commando soldier; female southern guerrillas.

The joint training program has 4 locations, including more than 5,000 officers and soldiers, with 7 main contents.

Directly inspecting the parade training, General Nguyen Tan Cuong, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army and Deputy Minister of National Defense, praised the sense of responsibility of the officers and soldiers directly participating in the training and service.

General Nguyen Tan Cuong said that the training clusters have been in place since February 18, but in reality, the units have been selecting and training since December 2024, including the units, officers, and soldiers mobilized from the parade celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory.

He requested the force to actively practice and master the command movements according to the tasks of each block and each force; closely combine training and joint training, overcome all difficulties, take advantage of all time to practice, and strictly follow discipline.

The team of teachers and managers continue to closely monitor and grasp the results to make corrections and draw lessons; organize assessments and classifications for each individual, each group, each row, and each block.

The Deputy Minister also noted that unit commanders need to strictly maintain the regimes; conduct training and joint exercises to ensure absolute safety for people and equipment. Develop a plan to mobilize forces to the South and Ho Chi Minh City to carry out the mission; pay attention to logistics, accommodation, weather and climate during training.

For the explanation of the blocks, the leaders of the Ministry of National Defense required that the explanation closely follow the historical traditions of each unit and military branch, especially Uncle Ho's instructions to that force.

The celebration, parade, and march to celebrate the 50th anniversary of national reunification is expected to take place on the morning of April 30, on Le Duan Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

General Nguyen Tan Cuong visited and encouraged the forces participating in the parade and marching at the joint training session.
