More than 400 people wearing traditional costumes paraded on Hanoi streets to celebrate Tet At Ty 2025

(Dan Tri) - On the morning of January 19, more than 400 people wearing traditional costumes paraded through relics and scenic spots in the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere to welcome the Lunar New Year 2025.
This morning, January 19 (December 20), more than 400 people wearing traditional costumes paraded through many streets in Hanoi. This activity was organized by the Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter Management Board in coordination with other units and individuals.
"Hundred Flowers Walking" Tet 2025 is a unique cultural event to welcome the Spring of At Ty 2025. According to the route, more than 400 people depart from the Hanoi Old Quarter Cultural Exchange Center (50 Dao Duy Tu, Hoan Kiem), wearing traditional costumes, passing through relics and scenic spots in the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake.
The procession stopped in front of O Quan Chuong area, a relic bearing the mark of the ancient Thang Long citadel. Nghe dance troupes, Senh Tien dance, Bong dance, Xoan singing... perform at the stopover, creating a bustling atmosphere. Luong Huyen Trang (21 years old, standing in the middle) has a passion and love for traditional costumes and has participated in many parade events before. This morning, she continued to participate in the traditional costume parade on the occasion of Tet At Ty 2025.
The procession attracted special attention from people along the way, domestic and foreign tourists. The activity will bring Vietnamese traditional costumes closer to the public, contributing to preserving the nation's fine traditional values. True to its name, "Bach Hoa Bo Hanh" is likened to a brilliant flower forest with hundreds of costumes from dynasties such as Ly, Tran, Le, Nguyen... performed through the streets, creating a colorful picture of Vietnamese culture. Not only a cultural event, "Bach Hoa Bi Hanh" also carries the hope of preserving and promoting the value of Vietnamese traditional costumes - a symbol of sophistication, creativity and talent in the nation's handicraft arts. The parade stopped to take photos at the Trang Tien - Hang Bai intersection.
The group ended their parade at Kim Ngan Communal House (Hang Bac). Here, activities such as the Thanh Hoang offering ceremony, the Tet pole-raising ceremony, and folk performances to celebrate the New Year took place (Photo: Ngoc Luu). The activity of writing calligraphy on a long red cloth with the four words "Era of Rising". This cloth will be hung on the pole placed in front of Kim Ngan communal house. The four words "Era of Rising" are with the wish for a new era, in which the Vietnamese people are full, happy, and prosperous. Culture goes with the breath of the nation, creating a transformation in the new generation.
