More than 30 international experts come to share surgical treatment experiences

On April 4 and 5, Binh Dan Hospital organized the 21st Conference on Science and Technology of Binh Dan Hospital (CISE 2025) with the theme "Connecting international surgical experts". Attending the opening session was comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

According to Associate Professor, Doctor, Doctor Tran Vinh Hung, Director of Binh Dan Hospital, the CISE Conference attracted more than 1,500 delegates including professors, doctors, pharmacists, nurses and medical experts. The total number of reporters was more than 230 scientists, including 32 experts from countries such as the United States, France, Belgium, Italy, Greece, Australia, Japan, Korea, etc.

In addition, the conference also received the attention and participation of more than 30 reporters from leading universities and medical facilities in Vietnam such as Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hanoi Medical University, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, Cho Ray Hospital, K Hospital, Hue Central Hospital, Heart Institute, Tu Du Hospital, Gia Dinh People's Hospital...

This year's conference has a comprehensive and in-depth scientific program with 320 reports in 36 quality scientific reporting sessions focusing on the strengths of Binh Dan Hospital including: General Surgery, Thoracic - Vascular Surgery, Urology - Andrology and related specialties such as Anesthesia, Oncology, Internal Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Infection Control and Molecular Biology.

In particular, the conference has a live surgical demonstration session from the operating room of Binh Dan Hospital to the conference such as: laparoscopic surgery to remove esophageal cancer, robotic surgery to remove the prostate with professional advice from international experts and doctors of Binh Dan Hospital. Doctors attending CISE 2025 can observe and discuss directly with surgeons.
