Tan Son Nhat Port representative assessed that currently, T3 passenger terminal is operating in an incomplete context, the organization of operations in the past few days has been initially successful. The port has deployed communications, announcing important information to passengers when taking Vietnam Airlines flights at T3 passenger terminal.

Up to now, Vietjet Air is still operating at T1 and has no specific plan for when it will move to the new terminal.

According to information from Vietnam Airlines, it is expected that by April 28, the airline's entire domestic flight network will complete the transition to the new terminal, except for flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Con Dao, Rach Gia, and Ca Mau, which will continue to operate at terminal T1 as they are currently.

Passengers are encouraged to carefully check the departure terminal information printed on their tickets, learn about the T3 terminal map and prioritize using online check-in via the website, mobile application or kiosk at the airport. For a smooth journey, passengers should arrive at the correct T3 terminal and be at the airport at least 2 hours before departure to avoid unexpected delays.

Vietnam Airlines representative noted that there are separate distances between terminals T1 (old domestic), T2 (international) and T3; travel time between terminals can take about 20 minutes depending on traffic conditions. For convenient travel from T1 or T2 (for connecting passengers) to T3, passengers can choose to use the free shuttle bus arranged by Tan Son Nhat International Airport (with an average frequency of about 20 minutes per trip), or technology vehicles, taxis.

At Terminal T3, Vietnam Airlines has arranged check-in counters from 56 to 109, along with 22 self-check-in counters, helping passengers save time and increase initiative during the check-in process.

"The transfer of operations to the new terminal not only helps improve Vietnam Airlines' service experience but also creates conditions for Tan Son Nhat Airport to gradually become a dynamic aviation hub in the Asian region. This is an important milestone in the airline's aviation infrastructure development strategy, opening a new journey towards a synchronous, convenient and 5-star service ecosystem of Vietnam Airlines Group" - Vietnam Airlines representative commented.
