More than 20 provinces and cities participate in Vinh Long Culture, Sports and Tourism Week

The event aims to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 139th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2025).

This is the first time Vinh Long province has organized a Culture, Sports and Tourism Week. The Organizing Committee said that the event has attracted more than 20 provinces and cities nationwide to register to participate in the activities.

The 2025 Vinh Long Province Culture, Sports and Tourism Week will officially open on the evening of April 29 at Vinh Long City Square.

Thanh Tra Food Festival is part of the series of events of Vinh Long Province Culture, Sports and Tourism Week 2025.

Within the framework of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Week, there will be many activities such as: Thanh Tra Festival and the performance to establish a Vietnamese record of 135 culinary dishes made with Thanh Tra ingredients; Southern folk cake festival combined with the Trade Promotion Fair, OCOP products and regional specialties; Vinh Long Open Cycling Tournament 2025; Vinh Long Marathon 2025; Famtrip to promote tourism tours to Mang Thit heritage; organizing a street parade of Vinh Long carnival; sampan racing, paragliding, water puppetry; organizing street performances; Honda 67 reunion activities nationwide...

Ms. Nguyen Thi Quyen Thanh, Vice Chairwoman of Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee, said: The 2025 Culture, Sports and Tourism Week focuses on promoting and advertising the province's products and tourism development potential, while creating conditions for exchange and cooperation between businesses from participating provinces and cities. Thereby, it contributes to attracting investment, strengthening regional linkages, seeking opportunities to spread the market, contributing to achieving the growth target of 8% in 2025.
