METAEDU Smart Education Exhibition

Within the framework of the program, the Intelligent Community Forum (ICF) will also announce the results of the selection of 21 smart cities during the exhibition.

Notably, a highlight of the 2024 Smart City Conference and Exhibition is the METAEDU Smart Education Exhibition. The exhibition will introduce the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in various educational activities such as foreign language teaching with creative spaces. In addition, at the AI workshop, experts from many different fields will share information on AI development trends that will impact education in the future.

To promote the development of the Internet of Things (IoT) industry, the Taipei Computer Society has organized SCSE since 2014, and it is currently the largest exhibition of this industry in Asia.

According to the International Energy Agency, urban energy consumption accounts for 67% of global greenhouse gas emissions. Cities are not only on the front lines of the fight against climate change, but also key locations for achieving zero emissions.

Therefore, the Taipei Computer Association, in collaboration with the Taiwan Development Council, expanded the existing SCSE to hold the "Zero-Emission City 2050 Exhibition". By connecting domestic and foreign cities and sharing zero-emission technology solutions, the event helps Taiwan accelerate its progress toward zero-emission goals and demonstrates Taiwan's determination to cooperate with global cities for digital and green transformation.
