More than 160,000 candidates have tested registration for the 2025 high school graduation exam.

Quick information about the first day of registration for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, the Ministry of Education and Training said that as of 5:00 p.m. on April 15, 160,435 candidates had registered.

Of these, 156,254 grade 12 candidates are studying the 2018 GeneralEducation Program, accounting for 97.39%.

The number of independent candidates registered is 4,181 candidates, accounting for 2.61%. There are 3,472 independent candidates following the 2018 General Education Program, and 709 candidates following the 2006 General Education Program.

The trial online registration is to help candidates get familiar with and practice before officially registering for the exam. The system will be open for 4 days, from April 15 to April 18, for candidates nationwide to register for the trial.

Then, on April 21, candidates will officially register for the exam. This year, both grade 12 candidates and independent candidates will register for the exam online on the Ministry of Education and Training's exam management system.
