More than 160 thousand vehicles have their license plates registered at district and commune police stations.

After more than 1 year of implementing the policy of the Ministry of Public Security on decentralizing motorbike and scooter registration to the commune-level police and car registration to the district-level police, although there are still many difficulties, with the efforts of the police force at all levels, the organization and implementation have achieved positive results, helping people save time and travel costs when handling administrative procedures in the field of vehicle registration and management.

More than 160 thousand vehicles have their license plates registered at district and commune police stations.

Up to now, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police has decentralized car registration to 26/27 police units at district, town and city levels (except Thanh Hoa City Police); decentralized motorbike and scooter registration to 27/27 police units at district, town and city levels and decentralized motorbike and scooter registration to 278/559 police units at commune level that meet the conditions according to regulations (reaching 49.7%).

From May 21, 2022 to present, the provincial police have received and processed more than 160,000 vehicle registration applications; including 28,363 car registration applications and 131,792 motorbike and scooter registration applications. During the implementation process, the units have been proactive, flexible, and creative in arranging staff, assigning appropriate and effective tasks, many units have taken advantage of the attention and support of local authorities to proactively purchase equipment, machinery, and supplies to serve the work of decentralizing vehicle registration to ensure compliance with regulations...
