A quick report from the Ministry of Education and Training shows that as of 5:00 p.m. on April 15, the total number of registrations for the 2025 high school graduation mock exam was 160,435 candidates.
According to regulations, from April 15 to April 18, candidates will participate in a trial registration for the high school graduation exam on the exam management system of the Ministryof Education and Training. Candidates will officially register from April 21 to 5:00 p.m. on April 28.
The 2025 high school graduation exam will take place on June 26 and 27. Candidates studying the current general education program (2018 program) must take 4 exams, including Math and Literature. In addition, students choose two subjects they have studied at school (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geography, History, Economic and Legal Education, Information Technology, Technology and Foreign Languages).
The group following the old program (2006) will take the Literature, Math, Foreign Language exams, and one of two Natural Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and Social Sciences (History, Geography, Civic Education).
The 2025 high school graduation exam scores will be announced by the Ministry of Education and Training on July 16. July 18 is the time for recognizing high school graduation. Graduation results will be announced on July 20. Temporary graduation certificates will be issued on July 22. The deadline for submitting appeal applications (if any) is July 25. Graduation results after appeal will be announced on August 8.
Circular No. 06/2025, Ministry of Education and Training stipulates a number of new points in the 2025 enrollment work: No more early admission; Must use the learning results of the entire 12th grade year for admission; Publicize the conversion rules equivalent to the admission score; No limit on the number of admission combinations; Use appropriate foreign language certificates to convert to foreign language subject scores in admission; Total points added must not exceed 10% of the maximum score of the admission scale; Candidates admitted directly must register their admission wishes on the system and confirm their enrollment.
