As of 6:00 p.m. this afternoon, the total number of patients being monitored was 152; of which 6 cases had symptoms of grade II anaphylactic shock such as abdominal pain, vomiting, hives all over the body, mild difficulty breathing; 146 cases had symptoms of mild abdominal pain and nausea.

Reporting to the authorities, the representative of the food supplier, Hoang Thuy Trading and Service Company Limited, located in Thuy Van Industrial Park, said: The lunch menu provided by the company for workers today includes braised fish, boiled cabbage, beans with meat sauce and white rice.
Doctors at Thanh Thuy District Medical Center are investigating a history of poisoning.
Also today, this company provided about 3,000 meals for workers of several companies in the province. Sunrise Company Limited in Hoang Xa Industrial Park alone provided 825 meals. After receiving information about the incident, leaders of Phu Tho Department of Health and Thanh Thuy District directly inspected the situation and directed the District Medical Center to mobilize human resources and means to provide emergency aid to all of these workers.
Currently, some mild cases have been discharged from the hospital and returned home. As of 7:00 p.m. on August 28, 87 cases are still being treated at medical facilities, their health is gradually stabilizing, and they are expected to be discharged in the next 24 hours.
The Department of Health directed the District Medical Center to actively treat the workers being treated at the Center, and to monitor and check the health status of all workers who have returned home. The provincial Department of Food Safety and Hygiene took samples of specimens and stored food, and coordinated with specialized agencies to verify and clarify the cause of the suspected food poisoning.
