On the morning of June 9, more than 116,000 candidates registered to take the entrance exam for non-specialized public grade 10 and specialized grade 10 in Hanoi, were present at the exam locations to complete exam procedures.

Candidates will take the exam at 201 non-professional exam sites and 17 professional exam sites with nearly 5,000 exam rooms. The number of staff and teachers working in invigilation and grading is 20,000 people. In addition, there are 590 supervisors at the exam sites and more than 1,000 police officers and soldiers performing the task of protecting the exam area. 100% of the exam sites are committed to ensuring all conditions regarding facilities according to regulations. In hot weather conditions, the exam sites have maximized health care conditions for candidates. The electricity sector is committed to ensuring no power outages at the exam sites, all 201 exam sites have backup generators.
