More than 100 journalists participate in the 'Walking on the Clouds' Mountain Climbing Competition to conquer Ta Xua peak

The 2nd “Steps on the Clouds” Mountain Climbing Tournament – ​​Conquering Ta Xua Peak, Tram Tau District, Yen Bai Province was organized after the success of the first season conquering Ta Chi Nhu Peak, ranked 7th in the top 10 highest mountains in Hoang Lien Son range.

The second "Steps on the Clouds" mountain climbing competition in 2025 is a journey to conquer Ta Xua peak at an altitude of 2,865m along the route starting from the center of Tram Tau district, Yen Bai.

Ta Xua Peak is located in Ban Cong Commune, Tram Tau District, Yen Bai Province. This mountain is the natural boundary between Yen Bai and Son La Provinces. In recent years, Ta Xua has become an ideal destination for mountain climbers who love to hunt clouds and admire rhododendron flowers. Ta Xua also has a unique, long and beautiful "dinosaur spine" that brings a strong feeling. In addition, the ancient moss-covered forest on Ta Xua Peak has a unique, magical beauty in Vietnam.

Participating in this tournament, athletes will have to overcome a distance of about 12 km of mountainous road. The starting point is at the foot of the mountain (in Ban Cong commune, Tram Tau district) and the destination is Ta Xua peak, at an altitude of 2,865m above sea level, this is one of the highest peaks in Vietnam. Ta Xua mountain is located in the south of Hoang Lien Son range, bordering Tram Tau district, Yen Bai province and Bac Yen district, Son La province.

On the journey to conquer Ta Xua mountain peak, athletes will experience conquering steep paths, crossing the ancient Rhododendron primeval forest. One of the highlights of the journey is the "Dragon's Spine" - a narrow and long mountain range, hidden in the sea of ​​clouds like a giant dragon's spine.

Conquering Ta Xua peak will be a wonderful experience for athletes, not only to challenge themselves but also to enjoy the wild natural beauty of the country.

On the closing night, the Organizing Committee will present 15 Thong Nhat bicycles to 15 students with difficult circumstances and high academic achievements in Tram Tau district.
