Hong Ha Commune has the Ba Duong Noi Kite Festival which has been recognized as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage and the craft of making flute kites has been recognized as a traditional craft of the city. There are three types of flute kites in Ba Duong Noi Village: Muom wing kites, lemon wing kites and wooden wing kites, each with its own characteristics and flying style. In particular, Ba Duong Noi villagers are also famous for their flute kite making techniques. The flutes are carved from old bamboo and other types of wood, creating a melodious sound like a symphony in the air.

According to Ms. Bui Thi Mai Phuong, Deputy Head of the Department of Culture, Science and Information of Dan Phuong district, the purpose of the training course is to help local people develop the traditional kite making profession to welcome visitors to experience as well as promote historical and cultural relics, local specialties such as sticky rice wine, tofu, banh te, banh gio... towards building Hong Ha commune as a city-level tourist destination.
