More than 1,200 union members donated blood in the 2025 voluntary blood donation festival

On the morning of April 15, at Bac Ninh College of Electromechanics and Construction, the Provincial Youth Union, the Vietnam Youth Union of Bac Ninh province in collaboration with the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, and the Provincial Red Cross Society organized the "Red Sunday" Blood Donation Festival in 2025 with the theme "Donate blood to save lives - Your life and mine".

Youth union members participate in voluntary blood donation

More than 1,200 youth union members across the province, including more than 200 students from Bac Ninh College of Electromechanics and Construction, came to donate blood voluntarily, with the desire to share their blood with patients in need. Currently, nationwide, during peak times, the demand for blood increases, so there is still a shortage of blood and an imbalance in blood groups for emergency and treatment. The "Red Sunday" blood donation festival at Bac Ninh College of Electromechanics and Construction is expected to collect more than 600 units of blood, contributing to ensuring blood supply, thereby bringing life to tens of thousands of patients.

Individuals with outstanding achievements in blood donation are rewarded.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee called on agencies, units and people in the community to actively participate in propaganda and mobilization of blood donation and directly participate in blood donation. At the program, the Organizing Committee also recognized, commended, awarded certificates and symbols of "Outstanding Young Physicians of 2025" to individuals with outstanding achievements, and awarded Certificates of Merit from the Provincial Red Cross Society to individuals with outstanding achievements in the voluntary blood donation movement.
