More than 1.1 million candidates take the 2025 High School Graduation Exam

The number of candidates taking the High School Graduation Exam this year is 1.1 million, an increase of about 400,000 compared to the number of 1.06 million candidates in the 2024 exam.

This is the information given by Professor Huynh Van Chuong, Director of the Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training at the Conference - Training on regulations and procedures for organizing the 2025 High School Graduation Exam organized by the Ministry of Education and Training in Ho Chi Minh City on April 3.

According to Mr. Chuong, for this year's exam, the Ministry of Education and Training will promote digital transformation, 100% of candidates can register for the exam online. Candidates can start registering for the exam from April 21 to 28.

Candidates have 4 days to register for the test. Candidates use the identification code information on VNEID to register online at the high school, without needing to provide additional documents.

The special thing about this year's exam is that there will be two different exams for two different groups of candidates. One exam for candidates studying under the new 2018 general education program and one exam for candidates studying under the 2006 general education program. Each group has different exams, schedules, and subjects, so localities will not arrange two groups at the same exam location.
