Currently, Lao Cai Medical Center has implemented communication activities to raise awareness of accident and injury prevention in 17/17 commune and ward health stations, and at the same time coordinated with other sectors in accident and injury prevention in the locality.

Health stations in the city actively coordinate with schools to propagate and educate students about child injury prevention. This activity is integrated into extracurricular programs, life skills programs or flag salutes.

In addition, the Medical Center has also developed documents and articles on accident and injury prevention with the topics of preventing electric shock, burns, traffic accidents, work accidents, accidents caused by animals, biting, stinging, goring, etc. posted on the electronic information portal and loudspeakers of 17 communes and wards.

Propaganda activities aim to raise public awareness about accident and injury prevention, contributing to gradually limiting accidents and injuries, reducing mortality and disability rates, and minimizing risk factors for accidents and injuries.
