More than 1,000 union members offered incense and lit candles to pay tribute to heroic martyrs.

In a solemn atmosphere, delegates and youth union members offered flowers and incense, expressing their respect, remembrance and infinite gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. Promoting the heroic tradition of Dien Bien Phu, Dien Bien youth vow to promote the tradition of their fathers and brothers, compete in studying, training, working and producing, promote the creative spirit of youth, actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, volunteer to build the homeland more and more prosperous.

After the flower offering ceremony, the youth union members offered incense and lit candles in gratitude on the martyrs’ graves. This is an annual activity organized by the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee to demonstrate the tradition of “Repaying gratitude” and “Remembering the source of water” of the youth towards the generation of fathers and brothers who sacrificed for the cause of national liberation. Thereby, educating revolutionary traditions, patriotism, national pride and raising awareness and responsibility of the young generation in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
