Today, candidates begin to register for the official High School Graduation Exam.

Candidates register online at https://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn/ or register on the National Public Service Portal using the VNeID electronic identification account.

Previously, from April 15 to 18, the Ministry of Education and Training opened the exam management system for candidates to register for a trial exam to help them experience and avoid mistakes when officially registering. After April 18, all information of candidates who registered for a trial exam will be deleted. Therefore, when registering for the real exam, candidates need to perform all operations from the beginning according to regulations.

The 2025 High School Graduation Exam is a very special exam as it is the graduation exam for the first generation of students studying under the new 2018 generaleducation program.

Because the exam content follows the new program, to ensure fairness for candidates who have not graduated from the old program or want to take the exam for university admission, the Ministry of Education and Training will have an additional exam specifically for this group of candidates, with the content following the 2006 program.

Candidates taking the new program will take four subjects, including two compulsory subjects: Math and Literature, and two subjects chosen by candidates from among the subjects they studied in high school.

Candidates taking the old program will take 6 subjects, including three compulsory subjects: Literature, Mathematics, Foreign Language and choose one of two combined exams: Natural Sciences (including Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or Social Sciences (including History, Geography, Civic Education). These candidates will take the exam at a separate testing location.

The High School Graduation Exam will take place on June 26 and 27.
