According to the working program, the National Assembly entered the third working day of the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly with many particularly important contents, from personnel work to reports on the National Target Program for Socio-Economic Development of Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas; Report on the appraisal of the investment policy of the North-South Expressway Construction Investment Project...

Regarding personnel work, according to the program, in the morning the National Assembly Standing Committee reported on the explanation and reception of opinions of National Assembly deputies discussing at the Delegation on the nomination list for the National Assembly to elect the President.

The National Assembly discusses and votes to approve the list to elect the President. The National Assembly elects the President by secret ballot.

After the Ballot Counting Committee reports the vote counting results, the National Assembly Standing Committee submits to the National Assembly a draft Resolution on the election of the President. The National Assembly discusses and votes to approve the Resolution on the election of the President.

Next, the President will submit to the National Assembly for approval the members of the National Defense and Security Council. The National Assembly will approve by secret ballot.

Based on the voting results, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly submits to the National Assembly a draft Resolution approving the members of the National Defense and Security Council. In addition to personnel work, also on the third working day, the National Assembly will hear the following reports: The Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, authorized by the Prime Minister, will present a report on the results of implementing national goals on gender equality in 2023. The Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Social Affairs will present a report on the verification of the results of implementing national goals on gender equality in 2023.

The Minister and Chairman of the Ethnic Committee, authorized by the Prime Minister, presented the Proposal on adjusting the investment policy of the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development of Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas for the 2021-2030 period. The Minister of Transport, authorized by the Prime Minister, presented the Proposal on the investment policy for the North-South Expressway construction project in the West, Gia Nghia (Dak Nong) - Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc).
