Today, open the online high school graduation exam registration system

According to the guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Training, the candidates for this year's high school graduation exam include: students currently in grade 12 during the 2022-2023 school year who will register online; and independent candidates who will register for the exam and apply for high school graduation recognition (if applicable) in person at the unit designated by the Department of Education and Training.

Candidates can start registering for the high school graduation exam on a trial basis from April 26th.

From April 26th to April 28th, high schools will provide 12th-grade students in the 2022-2023 school year with an account (using the student's citizen identification number or national identity card number; if the student does not have one, they will use their personal identification number); if the student is not a Vietnamese citizen, they will use their passport number instead and will be given a password to access the exam management system.

Candidates can try registering for the exam online through the exam management system immediately after receiving their account and password. From April 26th to 30th, schools will organize practice sessions for candidates to register for the exam online through the exam management system.

From May 4th to 5 PM on May 13th, high schools will organize online registration for 12th-grade students. During the same period, the Department of Education and Training will organize in-person registration for independent candidates.

At the training conference on organizing the 2023 high school graduation exam, Mr. Huynh Van Chuong, Director of the Quality Management Department (Ministry of Education and Training), emphasized several changes that candidates need to be aware of, starting from the exam registration stage.

Accordingly, before filling out the exam registration form, candidates should carefully read all sections and the instructions for filling out the form issued by the Ministry of Education and Training. Any unclear points should be clarified with the registration officer for full guidance. Candidates are fully responsible for the information provided in the exam registration form.

The Ministry of Education and Training requires the examination registration units to be responsible for guiding candidates in preparing their documents to fill out the high school graduation exam registration form on the software (for candidates registering online) or fill out the registration form (for candidates registering in person) completely and correctly with all the information.

Review the high school graduation application files to ensure the accuracy of the information filled in by candidates, especially information regarding priority categories for bonus points (if any); consider and decide on the eligibility of candidates to take the exam, and absolutely do not accept invalid applications.

The units are also responsible for guiding candidates in declaring information on the software to receive priority in university and college admissions; reviewing the information declared by candidates and the documents and evidence submitted by candidates.
