Today, the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly entered its second working session.

In today's working program, the National Assembly discussed in the hall the results of monitoring the settlement of voters' petitions sent to the 5th Session of the 15th National Assembly; the draft Resolution on imposing additional corporate income tax according to regulations against global tax base erosion; and the reduction of value-added tax.

During the second working session of the 6th Session, the National Assembly is expected to vote to pass 8 draft laws including: Law on Real Estate Business (amended); Law on Housing (amended); Law on Water Resources (amended); Law on Telecommunications (amended); Law on Management and Protection of National Defense Works and Military Zones; Law on Forces Participating in Protecting Security and Order at the Grassroots Level; Law on Identification and Law on Archives (amended).

As for the Land Law (amended), it is expected to be passed at this 6th Session, but due to many different opinions on some provisions, the National Assembly Standing Committee will report to the National Assembly to postpone the time of passing at another session to continue studying, perfecting, and ensuring quality.

In addition, the National Assembly will also discuss and consider passing a series of other important draft resolutions.

The 6th session of the 15th National Assembly will take place from October 23 to November 28, 2023. The total working time of the National Assembly is 22 days, conducted in 2 phases: Phase 1: from October 23 to November 10, 2023; Phase 2: from November 20 to 28, 2023. The 6th session will be held in the form of a centralized meeting at the National Assembly House, Hanoi Capital.
