On November 15, FGF Company (For Green Future) signed a contract to lease 1,000 electric vehicles with Holitech Company - a business providing smart technology solutions in tourism and transportation in Binh Dinh.
This is the largest-ever cooperation with a business partner. Accordingly, the VinFast electric vehicle fleet, including the full range from VF 3 to VF 9 from FGF, is expected to be put into operation by Holitech for high-quality transportation services in Binh Dinh and some central provinces in 2024 and 2025.
The signing ceremony of FGF and Holitech took place right after the comprehensive cooperation agreement on promoting green transformation between Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee and Vingroup Corporation took place on the same day, with one of the focuses being the development of a green transportation ecosystem using electric vehicles.
In particular, FGF's provision of a large number of electric vehicles to Holitech will play an important role in providing Binh Dinh residents and tourists with more opportunities to access and experience green, smart, and modern mobility services. Currently, this enterprise is also operating the VinFast electric motorbike rental service in Binh Dinh. After signing the contract with FGF, Holitech plans to rent electric cars to supplement the company's services in the last 2 months of 2024.
Talking about the significance of the event, Mr. Dinh Xuan Long - Director and Founder of Holitech Company said that digital transformation and green transformation are two top strategic goals of Holitech. Cooperating with FGF is an important turning point for Holitech to realize that goal. This is also a solid foundation for Holitech to improve service quality, promote green tourism and bring sustainable values to the community. "We have a superior advantage compared to other countries in the region in having a pure electric car company with a great green transportation ecosystem. Why don't we take advantage of it?", Mr. Long said.
Mr. Dinh Xuan Long also highly appreciated the general policy of Binh Dinh province in the greening of transportation, creating conditions for businesses to join hands in green transformation. Binh Dinh is one of the pioneering localities in planning electric vehicle charging stations associated with urban planning.
“Binh Dinh is a typical model, a testament to effective green transformation. If provinces and cities across the country have the same vision and approach as Binh Dinh, I believe that we do not need to wait until 2050, but in 2035, Vietnam can completely achieve the Net Zero target,” the Holitech leader shared.
On the FGF side, Deputy General Director Nguyen Duc Minh expressed his pride in working with businesses to not only improve the travel experience for people and tourists but also join hands for a greener Vietnam. “We hope to create more motivation for more businesses to strongly promote the green transformation,” said Mr. Nguyen Duc Minh.
With the mission of increasing access to electric cars for the majority of people, promoting the green transition and contributing to the realization of the Net Zero commitment by 2050, after more than 5 months of operation, FGF has continuously expanded its electric car rental and car buying and selling network nationwide, supporting individuals and businesses in green transformation.
Previously, FGF also signed a contract to lease 200 VinFast VF 8 and VF 9 electric cars to Ngan Luc Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (NIAD) to provide long-term transportation services to partners. In addition, in September, just 2 months after launching the market, FGF signed a long-term lease contract for 910 cars to 9 partners in 9 provinces and cities nationwide.
With the rapid progress of FGF as well as the companionship of more and more businesses, Vietnamese consumers are having more opportunities to access and experience green, smart vehicles conveniently at optimal costs.
