Tay Ninh Province Sports and Folk Dance Competition 2025: Tay Ninh City Women's Union won First Prize

Attending the event were Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Cuc - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department and 12 teams from local Women's Unions and folk dance clubs in the province.

The contest aims to create a joyful, exciting and practical atmosphere to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and respond to the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" in 2025.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Son - Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union, the contest aims to encourage the development of the folk dance and sports movement, thereby attracting more and more cadres, women's union members and people to participate in movement activities and practice mass sports at the grassroots level .

This is also a healthy and useful playground for cadres, members and women to improve their spiritual and cultural life, contributing to building a grassroots cultural life, spreading the image of the Association's activities to effectively implement the goals and tasks of socio -economic development as well as implementing the emulation movement "Tay Ninh Women are confident, responsible and progressive" launched by the Association at all levels.

The performance "Heroic Spirit of Vietnam" by the Folk Dance Club of the Provincial Cultural Center won the "Impressive Performance" award.

With the theme “Healthy and beautiful dance”, each participating team performed a folk dance to the music of Vietnamese songs praising the Party and Uncle Ho, expressing love for the homeland, country, family, and the fine traditions of Vietnamese women.

The contest attracted a large number of people to enjoy.

With careful preparation, beautiful costumes, and appropriate props, the performances all have their own unique and impressive nuances. The movements are choreographed to be easy to learn and remember, and are of the sport folk dance style, with the character of community dance.

At the end of the contest, Tay Ninh City Women's Union won first prize; Chau Thanh and Duong Minh Chau Women's Union won second prize; Provincial Police Women's Union, Tan Chau Women's Union and Go Dau Women's Union won third prize.
