On March 6, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Civil Servants' Union organized a "Flower Arranging" contest to celebrate the 114th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2024); 1984th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung uprising.
Comrade Luong Thi Huyen, Vice President of the Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union, delivered the opening speech of the contest.
The contest was attended by 29 teams with 87 contestants from grassroots unions under the Provincial Civil Servants' Union. Each team of 3 members arranged flowers for 30 minutes and presented for 5 minutes on the chosen topic.

With ingenuity, sophistication and meticulousness, the teams brought to the contest unique and meaningful works, demonstrating a unique flower arrangement style. Many of the works were invested quite elaborately in terms of flower types, ideas and artistry.

Through two flower arrangement and idea presentation competitions, the teams demonstrated their creativity in each work; expressing love, respect and praising the traditional moral qualities of resilient, indomitable, loyal and responsible Vietnamese women.
The "Flower Arranging Art" contest is a meaningful activity, creating a healthy and useful playground for union members, cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers to exchange and learn from each other, enhance solidarity between units, contribute to creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere, helping each other in work to successfully complete assigned tasks.
This is also an opportunity for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to demonstrate their artistic flower arrangement talents associated with the unique characteristics of their agencies and units, contributing to the overall development of the trade union organization.
The Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize to the Provincial Radio and Television Station Trade Union and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The Organizing Committee awarded the Second Prize to Thanh Hoa Newspaper Trade Union, Provincial Women's Union and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.
The Organizing Committee awarded Certificates and prizes to the third prize winning teams.
The Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the teams participating in the competition.
At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 2 first prizes, 3 second prizes, 5 third prizes, 19 consolation prizes and a number of secondary prizes to the participating units.
