On December 30, the Executive Board of the 8 Tan Son District Project organized a contest to exchange and share creative and effective models in eliminating gender stereotypes, learning about children's rights and legal policies among the "Leaders of Change" Clubs in 2024.
The organizers presented souvenirs to the competing teams.
The competition had the participation of 18 teams from 18 “Leaders of Change” Clubs of secondary schools in the district. Each team had to go through 3 rounds with contents focusing on learning about children’s rights, gender equality, reproductive and sexual health, prevention of gender-based violence, prevention of child sexual abuse, prevention of violence in cyberspace, prevention of child labor, prevention of child marriage.

Through the contest, we aim to promote children's participation in children's issues, attract children to take the lead in changing themselves, speak up and communicate about children's rights and responsibilities, and help solve some urgent social problems for women and children. Thereby, helping clubs share experiences, organizational skills, and handling situations in life, contributing to improving the effectiveness of propaganda and implementing knowledge to eliminate gender stereotypes, prevent school violence, early marriage, incestuous marriage, and prevent human trafficking.
At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 First Prize to the team of Thu Cuc Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities - Secondary School; 2 Second Prizes; 3 Third Prizes and 12 Encouragement Prizes to the remaining teams.
