Ha Long City Tourism Promotion Conference 2024

Over the years, Ha Long City has always identified tourism as a key economic sector. Up to now, the area has formed a relatively synchronous and modern service and tourism infrastructure system such as: Ben Doan high-class service area, Vincom Ha Long, 18-hole golf courses, Ocean Park, Vinpearl Ha Long high-class resort, Tuan Chau international cruise port, Ha Long international cruise port.

Speaking at the opening of the Workshop, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Son - Vice Chairman of Ha Long City People's Committee pointed out the potentials and outstanding advantages of Ha Long City.

According to the Vice Chairman of the Ha Long City People's Committee, 2024 is a year that marks many major events, especially the 30th anniversary of UNESCO's recognition of Ha Long Bay as a world natural heritage. The city has set a goal of welcoming 10 million visitors; of which international visitors will reach 2.0 million; total revenue from tourism activities will reach 22,000 billion VND.

With the theme "Ha Long - a complete experience", the delegates discussed, exchanged and proposed many solutions to introduce and promote the potential and advantages of tourism development; tourist areas, destinations and outstanding and unique tourism products of Ha Long City. Especially the role of Ha Long City in the Project to Develop Quang Ninh Province to become a tourism center connecting the region and the world;

In 2024, Ha Long City aims to welcome 10 million visitors, including 2 million international visitors.

At the workshop, delegates also witnessed the signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement on tourism promotion between Ha Long City and representatives of corporations, media units, and Quang Ninh Tourism Association.
