Workshop on “Traceability of products and goods in the national digital transformation program” and launching of ACTIV Representative Office in Hung Yen province

On April 15, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Anti-Counterfeiting Technology Joint Stock Company (ACTIV) coordinated with Techfest Vietnam to organize a workshop on “Tracing the origin of products and goods in the national digital transformation program”. Attending the workshop were representatives of agencies, departments, branches and more than 300 businesses from many localities.

Vietnam Anti-Counterfeiting Technology Joint Stock Company announced and awarded the decision to establish 40 representative offices in the provinces, Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.

The workshop introduced the pioneering solution “TrueData” – a technology solution for tracing product origin using RFID electronic chip stamps, storing full information about the origin, provenance and circulation process of the product on the market.

At the workshop, speakers analyzed the current situation, clarified policies and solutions for applying digital technology to clarify the origin of products and goods, thereby protecting the rights of consumers. Speakers presented and analyzed relevant legal documents such as Circular No. 02/2024/TT-BKHCN dated March 28, 2024 of the Minister of Science and Technology ; Decision No. 100/QD-TTg dated March 19, 2019 of the Prime Minister; Decree No. 13/2022/ND-CP dated January 21, 2022 of the Government; directives and proposals of the Central Party Secretariat and the Politburo, thereby determining the role of traceability in the trend of globalization and international economic integration.

At the workshop, the Steering Committee for the establishment of the “Association of organizations researching and applying solutions to trace the origin of products and goods” was officially launched. This is an important milestone promoting efforts to raise awareness and social responsibility in joining hands to protect the true value of products.

Within the framework of the workshop, ACTIV announced its decision to establish a system of Representative Offices in provinces and cities nationwide, to increase its presence and support businesses in applying TrueData solutions.

The representative office of Vietnam Anti-Counterfeiting Technology Joint Stock Company in Hung Yen province has been officially launched. This is an important step forward, helping ACTIV take advantage of local human resources, strengthen its reputation and effectively protect legitimate businesses, while creating favorable conditions for consumers to quickly and accurately look up and verify the origin of products. The launch of the Representative Office in Hung Yen is a testament to the sustainable development strategy, aiming to build a transparent and trustworthy ecosystem.

Through the workshop, ACTIV affirmed that with the widespread development of representative offices nationwide, TrueData traceability solution will become the "Electronic Passport" of each product, contributing to protecting consumer rights and developing the economy - society in the digital age.
