Workshop on “Traceability of products and goods in the national digital transformation program” in Ho Chi Minh City and launching of ACTIV Representative Office in Tuyen Quang province

The workshop took place on April 15 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The workshop introduced the pioneering solution “TrueData” – a technology solution for tracing product origin using RFID electronic chip stamps, storing full information about the origin, provenance and circulation process of the product on the market.

At the workshop, speakers analyzed the current situation, clarified the policy picture and solutions for applying digital technology to clarify the origin of products and goods, thereby protecting the rights of consumers.

The workshop took place on April 15 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The speakers presented and analyzed relevant legal documents such as Circular No. 02/2024/TT-BKHCN, Decision No. 100/QD-TTg, Decree No. 13/2022/ND-CP, and directives and proposals of the Central Party Secretariat and the Politburo , thereby determining the role of traceability in the trend of globalization and international economic integration.

The Steering Committee for the establishment of the “Association of organizations researching and applying solutions to trace the origin of products and goods” was officially launched. This is an important milestone promoting efforts to raise awareness and social responsibility in joining hands to protect the true value of products.

Notably, within the framework of the workshop, ACTIV announced its decision to establish a system of representative offices in provinces and cities nationwide, in order to increase its presence and support businesses in applying the TrueData solution. The representative office of Vietnam Anti-Counterfeiting Technology Joint Stock Company in Tuyen Quang province was officially launched, and the establishment decision was handed directly to Ms. Luu Thi Dung, Head of the Representative Office of Tuyen Quang province. This is an important step forward, helping ACTIV take advantage of local human resources, strengthen its reputation and effectively protect legitimate businesses, while creating favorable conditions for consumers to quickly and accurately look up and verify the origin of products.

ACTIV affirms that, with the widespread development of representative offices nationwide, the TrueData traceability solution will become the "Electronic Passport" of each product, contributing to protecting consumer rights and developing the economy and society in the digital age.
