Workshop "Tracing the origin of products and goods in the national digital transformation program"

The focus of the Workshop is the TrueData traceability solution - a pioneering product tracing technology, a solution that operates on the principle of collecting and protecting data using RFID chips attached to each product with the ability to store all information: origin, provenance, circulation process.

According to Mr. Pham Van Tho, Chairman of ACTIV: "Each RFID chip is a complete story, encoded with absolute security. Buyers can rest assured when using our traceability solution to make purchasing decisions". TrueData solution fully meets the regulations in Circular No. 02/2024/TT-BKHCN dated March 28, 2024 of the Minister of Science and Technology, affirming its legality and professionalism.

The discussion with the participation of 5 speakers representing agencies, businesses and ACTIV clarified the picture of product and goods traceability policies with the analysis and application of: Decision No. 100/QD-TTg dated March 19, 2019 of the Prime Minister; Decree No. 13/2022/ND-CP dated January 21, 2022 of the Government; Circular No. 02/2024/TT-BKHCN dated March 28, 2024 of the Minister of Science and Technology; Directive No. 38/CT-TW dated July 30, 2024 of the Central Party Secretariat; Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo.

At the Workshop, delegates emphasized: Traceability is becoming increasingly necessary in the inevitable trend of the market when the need for transparency in the origin and quality of goods is of greater concern and becomes a mandatory criterion in export, integration into the world economy and is identified as one of the breakthroughs in the digital transformation program, an inevitable requirement in the digital age of the country.

An important highlight of the event was the announcement and decision of Vietnam Anti-Counterfeiting Technology Joint Stock Company to establish 40 representative offices in provinces, Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. With the goal of utilizing and promoting local human resources, protecting the brands of legitimate businesses, and protecting the rights of buyers.

Also at the event, the Steering Committee for the establishment of the Association of organizations researching and applying solutions for tracing the origin of products and goods was launched. This is an important milestone promoting efforts to raise awareness and social responsibility in joining hands to protect the true value of products.
