This afternoon, August 20, after an urgent and scientific working session, the scientific workshop “Vinh Linh - heroic tradition and aspiration for development” was a great success. After an urgent and scientific working session with a high sense of responsibility and enthusiasm of the delegates, the Scientific Workshop with the theme "Vinh Linh - Heroic Tradition and Development Aspiration" completed all the proposed content and program and was a great success.
Our workshop was very excited to hear comrade Nguyen Dang Quang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, deliver a welcome speech, affirming the deep concern of the provincial leaders for the development of Vinh Linh homeland - the land of legends. The workshop also listened to the introductory report, summary report of the workshop by the Steering Committee and the Organizing Committee of the Workshop. The workshop was honored to receive congratulatory flower baskets from the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, leaders of central ministries and branches, the Vietnam Military History Institute, agencies, units and localities in the district.
During the preparation of the workshop, the Workshop Steering Committee received the attention, coordination, comments, and provision of documents from scientists, leaders of central agencies, the Military History Institute, provinces, agencies, units in the province, historical witnesses..., which is a valuable source of documents for the Vinh Linh District Party Committee.
Among the total of 52 papers received by the Conference Organizing Committee, there were many papers from experts, researchers, scientists, leaders and former leaders of the province and leaders of Vinh Linh district through the periods.
The papers have rich content, high scientific content, approaching the issue from a multi-dimensional and objective perspective, reflecting quite comprehensively and deeply the historical traditions, cultural sediments, and typical qualities of the heroic Vinh Linh people; clarifying the worthy contributions of the Party Committee, government, army and people of Vinh Linh in 70 years of construction, fighting and growth; drawing some lessons from practice to serve the construction of Vinh Linh homeland today and tomorrow.
The workshop also followed the live presentation of 7 papers focusing on the main contents, which are: Cultural traditions, history, land and people of Vinh Linh; Vinh Linh - 70 years of construction, innovation and development; Potential, advantages and aspirations for development.
The presentations of the delegates and scientists all unanimously affirmed that, whether in the midst of war or when peace was restored, Vinh Linh always promoted the spirit of solidarity, always carried within itself the will of self-reliance, the desire to rise up, optimism, and creativity, which is the "soft" power that created miracles and legends in the northernmost land of the province.

The scientific conference “Vinh Linh - Heroic Tradition and Development Aspiration” is an opportunity to remind today's generation to remember and be grateful for the great contributions of our predecessors and leaders through the ages and to deeply express gratitude to the heroic martyrs, heroic Vietnamese mothers, wounded and sick soldiers, families of martyrs, families with meritorious services to the country; generations of cadres, party members and people who have fought bravely, sacrificed, joined hands and strived to create a Vinh Linh "steel rampart" in combat and "flower rampart" in peace and construction; the conference is also an opportunity for us to continue to affirm and clarify the great contributions of Vinh Linh to the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.
The Organizing Committee respectfully accepts the intellectual and enthusiastic contributions of experts, scientists, managers, and delegates. The success of the conference will contribute to promoting the “soft” power of Vinh Linh people and those who love this countryside.
The presentations and conference documents will be valuable sources of information for agencies in the province and Vinh Linh district to refer to and research in strategic planning and development solutions, and valuable sources of information in history education, tradition education, and raising pride and aspiration to build the homeland among cadres, party members and people.
