When he died, Luu Dinh Chat was posthumously awarded the title of Phuc Quan Cong by the Le - Trinh dynasty.
Dr. Pham Van Tuan, Vice President of the Provincial Historical Science Association, spoke at the Workshop.
Besides his illustrious career as an official, with his deep loyalty and love for the people, the great mandarin Liu was also a great poet of his time. His literary career still exists today, with 18 poems in Chinese characters.

Delegates attending the workshop
During his official career, the high-ranking mandarin Luu Dinh Chat was trusted by King Le - Lord Trinh to be the Chief Envoy to the Ming Dynasty. Through the study of Han Nom documents, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Minh Tuong (Institute of History) affirmed: " In all favorable or difficult situations, when dealing with the Chinese king and mandarins, the Chief Envoy must be both flexible and firm when necessary to enhance the national prestige before the Chinese court, as well as the envoys of many other countries in the region... Royal Doctor Luu Dinh Chat was not only a good diplomat, the Chief Envoy to the Ming Dynasty in 1613 "not to dishonor the king's orders" but also an honest mandarin, always concerned with the people and the country".
Dr. Pham Van Anh (Institute of Literature) further emphasized: “ For the person chosen to be the Chief Envoy to China, one of the top criteria is that he must have the talent of “specializing in response”, that is, the ability to respond sharply, flexibly, and appropriately; that response must not only be in words, but also in poetry and prose. In other words, the person who is the Chief Envoy must have literary talent. It can be seen that although Toan Viet Thi Luc only recorded 18 poems by Luu Dinh Chat, that is enough for readers to see his qualities, poetic talent, and to some extent his diplomatic talent.”
In addition, the reports and discussions also focused on presenting, clarifying the current situation and proposing solutions to preserve and promote the heritage value of Luu Dinh Chat in Dong Khe village, Hoang Quy commune, his hometown such as: Dong Khe communal house, Luu Dinh family temple, Luu Dinh Chat tomb... As for the relics that no longer exist, it is necessary to continue researching and moving towards establishing a restoration project.
Dr. Luu Van Thanh, Chairman of the Vietnamese Luu Clan Council, affirmed that the famous person Luu Dinh Chat is a shining example for future generations to follow.

Based on the content of the report, discussion and opinions presented at the Workshop, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Duc Nhue summarized and recommended a number of important issues to competent authorities: The Luu Dinh Chat heritage in Dong Khe village deserves to be preserved and its value promoted. In the coming time, it is necessary to plan, design and restore and embellish items such as: Luu Dinh Chat Temple; Van chi hang tong; Luu Dinh Chat tomb; add documents to the relic dossier, recommend to competent authorities to consider upgrading the ranking of Dong Khe communal house relic as a national relic, prepare a scientific dossier to propose the ranking of Luu Dinh family temple relic as a provincial historical and cultural relic, name a number of streets in the province after the famous person Luu Dinh Chat; name schools in Hoang Quy commune and Hoang Hoa district after the famous person Luu Dinh Chat; the achievements of the famous person Luu Dinh Chat deserve to be included in textbooks teaching the local history program.
