On April 20, in Moscow, the Vietnam-Russia Vong Tay Charity Club under the Vietnamese Students' Association in the Russian Federation successfully organized the Mam 2025 Book Fair with the theme "Touch the ground - Welcome the sun - Reach high", attracting a large number of young people and students living and studying in Russia.
The program aims to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the anniversary of Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day (April 21, 2014 - April 21, 2025).
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hai Dang - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee in the Russian Federation and Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hung - representative of the Tradition and Friendship Fund emphasized the importance of reading for the young generation, expressed joy that the event created a connecting playground, appreciated the meaning of the name "Mam" in cultivating knowledge from an early age and expected the event to continue to develop, strongly spreading the passion for books.
For his part, Mr. Mai Tung Lam - Secretary of the Youth Union Executive Committee in the Russian Federation expressed his gratitude for the attention, guidance and support from the Party Committee, the Embassy, the "Tradition and Friendship" Fund and expressed his hope that the "Seed" event series will contribute to improving knowledge, experience and experience for young people and students through spreading the reading culture.
Also at the Mam Book Fair, the final round of the "Road to the Peak of Knowledge" contest was extremely exciting and thrilling. The winner of the contest was Pham Minh Hieu - NE Bauman National Technical University; along with that, the award ceremony of the "Flow of Aspiration" contest also took place with the winner being Nguyen Hai Bang - a student of Volgagrad State University.
The two competitions have created a knowledge playground, aiming to create conditions for young students to have the opportunity to learn, connect and share their knowledge and experiences.
At Mam 2025, participants can experience cultural booths, such as: Workshop on making traditional Vietnamese-Russian handicrafts - "Creative green branches;" Vietnamese-Russian folk games - "Four seasons of training;" Interactive Vietnamese-Russian cultural map - "Cultural roots;" other workshops such as: Handwriting corner - "Whispers of the Wind;" Vietnamese-Russian culinary corner - "Soil nourishes Mam - Kitchen nourishes Taste" and Volunteer Corner - "Season of volunteer flowers."
Each booth is both a traditional mark and a demonstration of the strong Vietnam-Russia diplomatic relationship and the desire for integration and creativity of the young generation of Vietnam.

The Mam 2025 Book Fair has ended successfully, leaving a deep impression in the hearts of the Vietnamese youth and student community in Russia.
Not only spreading the love of books and the spirit of volunteerism over the past 5 years of organization, Mam 2025 has truly become a fertile land, nurturing and nurturing knowledge, cultivating love for national culture and the aspirations of the young generation far from home.
The event once again affirmed the position of the "Mam" series of activities as a meaningful cultural - intellectual - volunteer meeting place, contributing to building the Vietnamese student community in Russia to be increasingly connected, intelligent, rich in identity and actively integrated.
