Kien Giang Provincial Journalists Association receives entries for the 2024 Tran Bach Dang Journalism Award

The works participating in the Award are those published and broadcast from May 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023 in print newspapers, print magazines, electronic newspapers, electronic magazines, radio programs, and television programs licensed by the Ministry of Information and Communications.

Press works that have been published and broadcast from January 1, 2023 to April 30, 2023 but have not participated in the Kien Giang Provincial Press Award 2023 will still be eligible to participate in the Kien Giang Provincial Press Award 2024.

Works that won the National Press Award, the "Golden Hammer and Sickle" Press Award, the National Radio Festival, and the National Television Festival are not eligible to participate in the Kien Giang Provincial Press Award in 2024.

Contestants are citizens of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, including members of the Vietnam Journalists Association, professional journalists, reporters, non-professional journalists; editors, reporters of domestic press agencies residing in Kien Giang province; reporters, collaborators of domestic press agencies.

Each author or group of authors can only submit a maximum of 03 press works for one type of press. For press photos, each author can submit no more than 05 news photos and no more than 05 photo reportage works.

If multiple authors work together on a journalistic work, the award will only be given to the group of authors.

Works participating in the Kien Giang Provincial Press Award 2024 are works that closely follow the policies and resolutions of the Party and State, and the political tasks of Kien Giang province; honestly reflect all aspects of social life in the fields of politics, economics, culture, society, national defense and security; works written on the topic of "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style"; advanced models, new factors; on preventing and combating negativity, corruption, waste; refuting hostile and erroneous viewpoints, etc.

Journalistic works about portraits of Kien Giang people working, studying outside the province (including abroad) have made outstanding contributions to their homeland Kien Giang.

Award structure: Print and electronic newspapers have 01 A prize, 02 B prizes, 03 C prizes, 05 consolation prizes. Radio newspapers include 01 A prize, 02 B prizes, 03 C prizes, 05 consolation prizes. Television newspapers: 01 A prize, 02 B prizes, 03 C prizes, 05 consolation prizes and Press photography: 02 A prizes, 02 B prizes, 04 C prizes, 05 consolation prizes.
