Ha Nam Provincial Journalists Association donates newspapers and magazines to Vuc Trai Nhue Village Library

Vuc Trai Nhue Village Library was established in April 2024 with 12 initial core members participating in the management board. Every week, the library is open 3 days (Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday). The initial number of books is about 600 titles with a relatively diverse structure of categories, including: history books, politics , popular knowledge books, general science books, literature - art books, textbooks, books for children, etc. After 1 year of establishment and operation, the library has attracted a large number of readers, book lovers, and book lovers of many ages, sectors, and genders in the village and commune to consult, research, collect, and update information, thereby promoting the reading movement, especially among the elderly, retired cadres, teenagers, and students, enriching the cultural and spiritual life according to the criteria of building new rural areas and civilized urban areas.

The Standing Representative of the Ha Nam Provincial Journalists Association presented newspapers and magazines to the Board of Directors of the Vuc Trai Nhue Village Library.

The entire issue of newspapers and magazines donated by the Ha Nam Provincial Journalists Association to Vuc Trai Nhue Library includes hundreds of special multi-page, color-printed publications issued by press agencies in the province and the whole country on the occasion of "celebrating the Party, celebrating spring" as well as welcoming major events in early 2025. The organization of displaying Tet and spring newspapers and donating books, newspapers and magazines to local libraries has been maintained annually on the occasion of welcoming the traditional New Year of the nation and responding to the annual Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day, thereby contributing to increasing the quantity, diversifying and enriching the structure of books, newspapers and magazines, meeting the reading culture needs of local readers. Donating newspapers and magazines to local libraries this year is also one of the practical activities of the staff and members of the Ha Nam Provincial Journalists Association towards the 100th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025) and the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Journalists Association (April 21, 1950 - April 21, 2025).
