The speech reviewing the glorious 98-year tradition of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press by comrade Nguyen Tien Vu, Editor-in-Chief of Bac Ninh Newspaper, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association affirmed: Along with the continuous strong development of the press nationwide, Bac Ninh press has always received the attention, leadership and direction of the Party Committee, government and people in the province. Regardless of the circumstances and revolutionary stages, it has maintained its principles and purposes, affirmed the role and mission of the revolutionary press, and made an important contribution to the common achievements of the province as well as the country.

Promoting the 98-year tradition of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press, journalists in the province strengthen solidarity and unity, maintain political orientation, so that the press is always worthy of being an important tool of the Party, an effective means of ideological work, and actively contributing to the development of the homeland and the country.
In the meeting program to celebrate the 98th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, the Provincial Journalists Association organized a summary and awarded prizes to authors and groups of authors who won the Ngo Gia Tu journalism award in 2022.
Ngo Gia Tu Journalism Award 2022, the Award Council received 141 works, groups of works from more than 100 authors, groups of authors to compete. This is the year attracting the largest number of entries ever. The works participating in the award are of good quality, comprehensively reflecting the events, political tasks of the country, of the province, in all areas of social life.

Through the preliminary and final rounds, 46 works were selected and awarded. Of which, Group A (Group of genres: Reportage, Notes, Investigation, Political commentary, Journalism, Documentary, Radio - Television) had 25 prizes including 2 First prizes, 4 Second prizes, 7 Third prizes and 12 Encouragement prizes. Group B (Group of genres: Reflection, Press photos, Interviews, Good people - Good deeds, Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, Short PT-TH reportage) had 21 prizes including 1 First prize, 4 Second prizes, 6 Third prizes and 10 Encouragement prizes.
At the meeting, the leaders of the Provincial Journalists Association launched the response to the 8th National Press Award on Party building (Golden Hammer and Sickle Award) in 2023 to press agencies, cadres and members.
