Da Nang City Journalists Association focuses on preparing to organize the Spring Press Festival 2025

At the Conference, Comrade Mai Thi Thu - Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of the Da Nang City Party Committee said that recently, press agencies in the city have focused on promoting activities to celebrate major holidays and important political events of the country and the city.

Da Nang Newspaper published nearly 7,589 news, articles and images on its publications. Da Nang Radio and Television Station produced nearly 1,798 programs to propagate the city's political tasks and essential information. Other central and local press agencies have paid special attention and supported the city in information and propaganda work in all fields. Therefore, all policies and guidelines have been promptly, quickly and accurately informed to the people.

Regarding the direction and tasks for the fourth quarter of 2024, comrade Mai Thi Thu requested the Propaganda Department of the Da Nang City Party Committee to focus on directing the propaganda work to highlight the anniversaries, major political events, major policies and important policies of the country and the city from now until the end of 2024.

The Department of Information and Communications of Da Nang City continues to research and deploy orders and sign communication cooperation agreements with a number of press agencies; advise the City People's Committee to organize the 2024 Policy Communication Training Conference for departments, branches, sectors, and People's Committees of districts.

"The Da Nang City Journalists Association focuses on preparing to organize the Spring Press Festival in 2025; well prepares the content for publishing the special issue of the Da Nang Journalists magazine to welcome Spring 2025; actively responds, propagates, and implements activities and events towards the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 / June 21, 2025)", the Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of the Da Nang City Party Committee emphasized.

In addition, Comrade Mai Thi Thu requested press agencies in the city to focus on promoting bold propaganda of anniversaries, important political events of the country, major policies and important policies of the city in the last 3 months of 2024, especially leadership documents, directing the implementation of Conclusion No. 79-KL/TW dated May 13, 2024 of the Politburo, Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15 dated June 26, 2024 of the National Assembly on the organization of urban government and piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Da Nang city by the City Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee.
