Thanh Hoa Journalists Association currently has 5 branches and 1 affiliated club including: Thanh Hoa Newspaper Journalists Association; Provincial Radio and Television Journalists Association; Thanh Magazine Journalists Association; Central Press Agencies Journalists Association in the area; Association Office Journalists Association; Female Journalists Club. The total number of members is 366.
In 2023, the affiliated journalist associations have successfully completed their assigned tasks; the Association's activities have had many creative innovations, especially focusing on professional training for members and journalists in the area, investing in high-quality journalistic works, participating in the National Press Festival, the 17th National Press Award, and achieving high results in 2022, contributing to the successful completion of political and professional tasks in the activities of the Vietnam Journalists Association and Thanh Hoa province.
The group of authors won the A prize of the Tran Mai Ninh Journalism Award in 2022.
At the same time, training and professional development are focused on to improve political capacity and professional qualifications for members of the local press association.
During the year, Thanh Hoa Journalists Association opened 2 training courses on journalism skills: "Reporting, providing and processing press information in the field of security and order" and "Skills in organizing and operating a press office in the context of convergence and integration".
