Conference on tourism promotion and destination introduction of Cat Tien National Park in 2025

The conference was attended by more than 120 delegates from departments and agencies in the tourism sector of the three provinces of Dong Nai, Lam Dong and Binh Duong, along with representatives of companies and travel agencies in the tourism sector from many provinces and cities across the country.

The conference was sponsored by the Asian Forest Cooperation Organization (AFoCo), with activities introducing special tours and tourism activities at Cat Tien National Park, experiencing traditional culture such as: Then singing and Tinh lute of the Tay ethnic group, singing and gong dance of the Chau Ma ethnic group, bamboo dancing...

At the conference, delegates gave their opinions on the current status of tourism activities in Cat Tien National Park and the forest buffer zone, and pointed out the strengths as well as shortcomings, which have not been effectively exploited to match the available potential. Management units and travel businesses shared their experiences in tourism services, thereby proposing initiatives to help develop more strongly, enrich and enhance ecotourism and community tourism activities here.

Cat Tien National Park, with an area of ​​over 71,000 hectares, stretches across three provinces of Dong Nai, Lam Dong and Binh Phuoc, is a conservation area that has been recognized as a World Biosphere Reserve, an international Ramsar site and a special national monument. In early 2024, Cat Tien National Park made new steps in the process of reaching the IUCN Green List. Cat Tien National Park is a place that contains great natural and historical values, a valuable source of materials for scientific research and forthe education sector in general.
