Investment Promotion Conference in the Central Coastal Provinces

On the afternoon of October 10, Vice Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee Tran Phuoc Hien attended the Investment Promotion Conference in the Central Coastal Region provinces organized by Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee in coordination with Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and localities in the Central Coastal Region in Quy Nhon City. The activity is part of a series of events of the Conference to review 1 year of implementing the Socio-Economic Development Cooperation Program between Ho Chi Minh City and the Central Coastal Region provinces.

The Central Coast Region, including the provinces of Quang Ngai, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan and Binh Dinh, has potential and advantages for economic development in many fields, especially marine economy, seaports, an important strength for socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security of the sea and islands of the region and the whole country. One of the biggest advantages of the Region is its geographical location near the largest economic locomotive of the country, Ho Chi Minh City, and the localities are all adjacent to the sea, creating the basis for the formation of many attractive tourist areas and destinations, suitable for the investment needs of businesses and the needs of experience and exploration of tourists. Localities in the Region currently have many industrial parks and clusters with large clean land funds, and increasingly complete and synchronous investment attraction policies. The population is of working age; the North-South transport infrastructure has been significantly improved. In particular, this is also a Region with its own cultural identity, self-reliance, dynamism and creativity. Thanks to that, in recent years, the Party Committee and the government of each locality in the Region have made strong efforts, proactively exploited potentials and advantages, promoted investment attraction, enlisted the support of the Central Government, the support and companionship of all classes of people and the business community, accelerated the pace of socio-economic development and achieved positive and comprehensive results in all sectors and fields, contributing to promoting the Central Coast Region to gradually become one of the leading dynamic development regions in the country.

Granting investment certificates to investors

In recent times, Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces of the Central Coast have implemented many cooperation agreements on socio-economic development in practice. Enterprises and investors of localities in the Central Coast have been supported and enjoyed many incentives brought by Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces. This conference is also an opportunity for enterprises and investors to have a more general view of investment calling projects, policies and incentives to attract investment of localities in the Central Coast region and Ho Chi Minh City. The conference also provides time for leaders of localities and associations, business communities to exchange and discuss to clarify investment calling projects, and at the same time orient cooperation between enterprises of localities. The common view is to always create favorable conditions for investors and enterprises to come to localities to seek investment opportunities and successfully implement projects for sustainable development. Local leaders also affirmed that they will continuously reform administrative procedures, innovate working style, promote a sense of responsibility and a dedicated, transparent and prompt working attitude to promptly grasp and propose solutions to requests and create the most favorable investment and business environment for investors.
